LG has launched its flagship smartphone, the LG G6, in Thailand.
Available through AIS, anyone who buys the new handset before the end of September will receive a 43 inch LG 43LJ500T TV worth 13,900 baht and 4,000 baht worth of credit towards an AIS data package.
The key feature on the new device is its 5.7-inch ‘FullVision’ screen, which has an aspect ratio of 18:9 and is designed for those people who like multi-tasking or apps that are split screen.
This new feature allows users to open two square apps windows side by side, for example a messaging app and a web browser, meaning that the user has access to more information at the same time.
The display fills almost all the phone’s front face and has a 2,880 x 1,440 resolution, making it a good choice for anyone who watches a lot of video content on their phone.
Elsewhere the G6 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 alongside 4GB RAM. There’s also 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded via MicroSD.
As for the camera, the dual lens setup on the rear of the device boasts two 13MP cameras, one of which is a wide angle lens, while the other shoots in normal view. The 5MP front facing camera also gives the option to shoot wide angle selfies.
The LG G6 also includes a fingerprint scanner on the reverse, a USB-C port, a 3,000mAh battery, is water and dust resistant and runs Android Nougat.
The LG G6 is priced at Bt 24,990 and is available at 20 AIS stores in Thailand or via the AIS online store.
