Android fans in Thailand who want a decent smartphone without spending a heap of money might be pleased to know the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is currently available SIM free for just Bt14,900.
Despite being two years old, the Note 5 is still a good smartphone and continues to rival many other Android devices within the same price range.
The Note 5 sports a 5.7 inch Quad HD display, is powered by an Exynos 7420 processor and has 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
It has a massive 3,200mAh battery and the Note’s trademark S Pen, which allows for all kinds of additional functions such as writing, drawing, taking notes and multi tasking.
The only downsides to the Note 5 is that there is no Micro SD slot and no removable battery.
The Galaxy Note 5 in either gold or silver is currently on sale for Bt14,900 via the JayMart website, which is a saving of more than 15,000 baht from the original sales price.
Samsung is of course due to release the Note 8 next month.
Last week, Samsung sent out invites to an event in New York where it is expected to officially unveil the Note 8 for the first time.
The Note 8 is rumoured to include an ‘Infinity’ display set to measure a whopping 6.3 inches, with 6GB of RAM and a 12MP dual camera.
