Google’s new #myAndroid Taste Test tool will help you customize your smartphone

Google has launched a new tool called #myAndroid Taste Test that helps users customise their device.

The tool can be used to help you find the most suitable home screen for your phone, as well as helping you choose the best launcher to meet your preferred style.

The #myAndroid Taste Test includes a short quiz where you are required to answer questions on a range of different wallpapers, colours schemes, icons, keyboards, widgets and other criteria such as your experience in using Android and other info in order to help create your perfect home screen.

At the end of the quiz, Google gives you a selection of different looks that match your answers, which include a new wallpaper, icon pack, widgets and launcher.

Unfortunately, users are unable to download the new look in one click, and are instead given links to the apps on the Google Play Store that will help them build the look themselves.

Even so, #myAndroid Taste Test gives Android users a useful introduction into the wide array of customisation options that are available on Google’s mobile operating system.
