The latest upgrade for iOS 10 includes a few hidden extras. One one that particularly stands out is a magnifying tool.
The new feature can be found in the ‘hidden’ mode on your phone’s settings and allows you to use your iPhone camera as a magnifying glass.
After you have activated the feature you can change the brightness and colour of your screen therefore making the text easier to read or the object easier to see.
Several users claim that the new feature could be handy for people who have problems distinguishing certain colours or shades.
To turn on the new feature go to: Settings> General> Accessibility. Then click ‘Magnifier’ and use the slide bar to turn it on.
After that, if you press the home button three times you can control the brightness and colour and focus in on what you want to read.
You can be on the lock screen or in an app – it doesn’t matter.
