Banana IT have knocked more than Bt13,000 off the price of Microsoft’s popular Surface Pro 4 tablet.
The one time darling of the detachable tablet market before it was replaced by the new Surface Pro, the Surface Pro 4 is on sale for Bt29,900, a saving of 31% off the original sales price.
The Surface Pro 4 is powered by a 6th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
It features a 12.3 inch touch screen display and Microsoft says its 4,000mAh battery will give you 9 hours of use on a single charge.
The Surface Pro 4 runs Windows 10 Pro and comes with a one year warranty.
However, we couldn’t feature this great offer without mentioning some other news regarding the Surface Pro 4.
Last week, a study by Consumer Reports found that the breakage rate for Microsoft Corp’s Surface devices is significantly worse than for other manufacturers’ laptops and tablets, Reuters reported.
Consumer Reports said Microsoft Surface devices suffer with “problems by the end of the second year of ownership.”
“If you are very concerned about how long your products are going to last, it might be better for you to go with a brand that has a higher predicted reliability,” said Jerry Beilinson from Consumer Reports.
However, in response a spokesperson for Microsoft said:
We take quality seriously, conducting rigorous reliability testing during development to forecast failure and return rates, which are then continually viewed against [real world data]post-launch.
“We also regularly review other metrics to understand the experience we are providing to our customers and our findings show our products are in a much healthier place than noted by Consumer Reports.”
