Game of Thrones season 7 episode 6 leaks after HBO ACCIDENTALLY releases new episode

In a blunder which will make online pirates rejoice, HBO Spain has accidentally broadcast Game of Thrones season 7 episode 6 four days early [five days for viewers in Thailand].

According to reports, the episode was broadcast to viewers in Spain via HBO’s on demand service.

The episode was available to watch for more than one hour before being removed.

However, that hour was more than enough for it to be ripped and shared across some of the world’s most popular torrent sites and other streaming services.

Footage from the episode has been since been shared on Reddit [which is FULL of spoilers so be warned], YouTube and Instagram.

At the time of writing, a file named ‘Game_of_Thrones_-_S07E06.flv’ was available to download from the Pirate Bay and, with new links seeming to appear quicker than HBO could take them down.

This isn’t the first time an episode from the new series of Game of Thrones has been leaked.

Episode four, The Spoils of War, leaked online earlier this month.

The leak was said to originate from a broadcast partner of HBO in India.

According to Reuters, police in Mumbai arrested four people on suspicion of leaking the episode.

HBO was recently the victim of a major cyber attack where scripts, episodes and even the phone numbers and email addresses of stars from the show per published online, along with a ransom demand.

Game of Thrones season 7 episode 6 is due to air in Thailand on HBO Asia on Monday 21 Aug.
