It’s ducking annoying when your iPhone decides to treat you like a child and won’t let you speak your mind.
If you’ve ever tried to write a message or email that includes an F-bomb or some other swear word but have been thwarted by autocorrect, you’ll understand how annoying that ship is.
“It’s ducking hot outside”.
“I wish this ducking rain would stop”.
“I feel like ship today”.
You can see how autocorrect can completely mess up what you’re trying to say.
Luckily for iPhone users there is a simple way to fix the autocorrect feature in iOS so you can swear as much as you like.
First you need to head over to the Text Replacement option, where you can override words with anything you choose.
Do this by going to Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement.
Tap on the “+” in the top right and under ‘Phrase’ add the new word you want to add. Under ‘Shortcut’ write the word that Apple always uses when it autocorrects.
When the new word is added you can use it wherever the duck you like, on Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, iMessage or any other messaging app.
