Apple rumoured to launch Jet White iPhone 7

The ‘Jet Black’ option for the iPhone was extremely popular as we know – in fact it sold out almost immediately, so following on from this success they are rumoured to be launching a ‘Jet White’ version.

According to sources who spoke to the Japanese website MacOtakara, a Jet White iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus may be released, although the website itself does not appear to be fully convinced.

“This information may be unreliable,” the website states.

The ‘Jet Black’ finished was heavily criticised initially due to the fact that it was easily scratched but soon won over these critics thanks to its stylish appearance.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are currently available in five colours: Jet Black, Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Silver.

White is a colour closely associated with Apple as it was the colour used for the reinvention for the company and used on the first iPod so may be very well received. The Apple Watch is available in ‘White Ceramic’ so perhaps the rumour is gaining more credence.

Apple has neither confirmed nor denied the rumour which is pretty much in keeping with any rumours connected to their products so it may be wise to treat any blogs claiming to have ‘inside knowledge’ with a pinch of salt.

If you are waiting for the ‘Jet White’ option, you may just have to wait a little longer yet.
