It is believed that Apple is preparing to launch their largest iPad to date in March next year.
The new device will form part of a launch that will consist of three new models of its iPad Pro.
The analysts at Barclays Research claim that Apple will launch the 12.9 inch model along with an all new bezel-free 10.9 inch model, at the same time as updating and refreshing the 9.7 inch model, MacRumours reported.
The idea behind the new bezel-free design is to allow the 10.9 inch version to have the same physical design as the current 9.7 inch version, the analysts said.
The reports come from popular Japanese Apple fan site, Mac Oktara, who said that the 12.9 inch model will include the same 12MP primary camera as found on the the 9.7 inch iPad, as well as Apple’s new True Tone display, which can adapt the colour and intensity of the display depending on the lighting of the current surroundings.
Meanwhile analysts at KGI Securities speculate that the 9.7 inch iPad Pro will be launched at a lower price than previous models.
Their reports claimed that Apple will bring what they describe as ‘revolutionary’ changes to the upcoming iPad models, which they expect to be launched in 2018, instead of 2017 as had previously been reported.
