If you’ve just bought a new Android device and you’re wondering which apps you should download then you’re in luck.
In fact, even if you’re a long time Android user then you’re also in luck as Google has just released its picks of the best Android apps.
Rather than leaving you to trawl through the hundreds of thousands of apps on the Google Play store, Google has picked out what it is calling the ‘must have’ apps, which Android users both new and old really should check out.
With more than 1 million apps on the Google Play store, it can be easy for users to get overwhelmed with the sheer number of apps. And let’s face it, there’s a lot of rubbish on there!
However, Google’s list of 127 best Android apps cover pretty much every category you can think of and the best news is that most of the apps featured in the list are free to download.
For seasoned users, the list includes some apps which you’ll no doubt already be familiar with such as Evernote, Pocket and Flipboard, but by and large it also includes lots of other great apps and offers something for pretty much everyone.
