If you’re looking for a new phone under 15,000 baht, then then you’ve got plenty of choice.

All of the top brands have something to offer with admittedly lots of similarities but many are trying to offer something just that little bit more unique that will allow them to differentiate themselves from the other models.

Here are 7 of the best Android phones under 15,000 baht:

Samsung Galaxy A5 & A7 (THB10,990 and THB13,990 respectively)

The Galaxy A5 and A7 are the latest releases from Samsung in the mid-range bracket.

Carrying on from the theme of metal cased devices, something that the A series was renowned for, the A5 and A7 look and feel excellent and there are quite a lot of similarities to the Galaxy S6.

In actual fact the two devices, the A5 and A7, have quite a lot in common and it reality it is just size that sets them apart.

Both devices have a 13MP rear, main camera and a 5MP “selfie” camera on the front. The display on both models is a Full HD AMOLED display that is 5.2 inches in size on the A5 and 5.5 inches on the A7.

The phones are powered by a 1.6GHz-octa core processor with 2GB and 3GB of RAM on the A5 and A7 respectively.

Both of the devices come with 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 128GB with the use of a microSD. For additional security, both models have a fingerprint scanner, a fast charging feature and run Android Lollipop 5.1.

Huawei G7 Plus (THB10,000)

The G7 Plus was originally launched towards the end of 2015 and has some pretty impressive stats of its own. The device has a 5.5 inch, Full HD IPS screen and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm 615 snapdragon processor.

It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can again be increased to 128GB with the use of a microSD card.

When it comes to the cameras these are pretty much what you would expect from a mid-range device. They are a 13MP camera on the rear in addition to a 5MP front facing snapper. The Huawei G7 Plus has a 3000mAh battery and uses Huawei’s own version of Android 5.1.

Moto X Play (THB12,990 but only available on True)

The Moto X Play was originally released back in July 2015 but has only recently been made available in Thailand and comes complete with a 1080 x 1920 pixel, 5.5 inch, touchscreen display. The device is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and has 2GB of RAM.

When it comes to internal memory it as a has the standard 16GB which is in keeping with other models in the same range and can be increased to 128GB with the use of a microSD card. The Moto X Play has quite an impressive rear facing camera that is 21MP whilst the “selfie” camera is a more standard 5MP.

The smartphone has a non-removable 3630mAh battery and runs using Android 5.1.1.

Lenovo Vibe S1 (THB10,490)

This device was launched back in November 2015 and has a 5 inch, 1080 x 1920 pixel touchscreen display. It has 3GB of RAM and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor.

Similar to many of the other models it has 32GB of internal storage that can be increased to 128GB using a microSD card. The rear facing camera is 13MP whilst the front camera is a slightly better than standard 8MP.

The Lenovo Vibe S1 has a 2420mAh non-removal battery and runs using the Android 5.0 system.

Vivo V3 Max (THB12,990)

The new Vivo V3 Max is described as “faster than fast” by the manufacturer relating primarily to the fast charging facility. The device has a 5 inch, Full HD display and is powered by the

Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Octa-core processor, has 4GB of RAM and has the predictable 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card to 128GB.

The front facing camera is an 8MP affair with the main camera being 13MP but comes with a dual LED flash with PDAF technology. The V3 Max is capable of taking great shots within 0.7 seconds and can focus in a staggering 0.2 seconds.

The smartphone has a 3000mAh battery which Vivo claim can give you 2 hours of music playback from just 5 minutes of charge.

Oppo R7S (THB14,990)

The R7S has a 5.5 inch Full HD AMOLED touchscreen display that is protected by Gorilla Glass 4 and has 410PPI. It runs using an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8939 processor, has 4GB of RAM with 32 GB of internal storage and runs using the Android 5.1 OS.

When it comes to cameras the device has a 13MP main, rear camera and an 8MP front facing, “selfie” camera and has a 3070mAh battery.

ZTE Axon Mini (THB12,900)

The ZTE Axon Mini is younger version of the flagship Axon device from ZTE. The Mini has a 5.2 inch AMOLED, pressure sensitive display as opposed to the 5.5 inch screen on the Axon and is power by the Snapdragon 616 processor.

The device has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage than can be extended to 128GB with the use of a microSD card and has a 2800mAh battery.

The cameras are the common within the range 13MP rear camera and 8MP front facing camera.
