The new Canon EOS 5D Mark IV camera has now officially been launched in Thailand with prices starting at THB141,600.
This latest release from Canon is pretty much as good as it gets in the world of cameras and comes complete with 4K video recording capability making it the first in the 5D series to have this facility available.
The camera has a new 30.4MP, full frame image sensor that has a standard IOS setting of 100-32000, which can be extended to 50-102,400 should you so require. It can also shoot with 7fps continuous shooting speed.
The EOS Mark IV has a dual pixel sensor that will give better, clearer images thanks to the fact that it captures light individually.
As mentioned, the camera has 4K recording capabilities and these are at 30fps as well as being able to support image extracts from high-resolution video.
It is powered by a Digic 6+ image processor that offers enhanced noise isolation and a low-light shooting algorithm.
It still has the old 3.2 inch touchscreen although the resolution has been increased to 1.62 million dots.
The camera also includes connectivity features such as WiFi and NFC.
Canon will also be releasing a kit lens 24-105mm f/4L IS that will give further increased performance and durability.
