Uber’s food delivery service, UberEATS, is now available in Bangkok.
The company has announced that it has partnered with more than 100 restaurants including Krua Apsorn, Appia, Ippudo, Daniel Thaiger, Rocket Coffeebar and Mae Varee and plans to partner with more eateries in the near future.
However, users will need to setup a new account as UberEATS is a standalone app and is separate from the Uber ride hailing service.
UberEATS operates from 10am – 10pm, seven days a week and will initially be operating in the Yaowarat, Sathorn, Silom, Siam and Sukhumvit areas before rolling out a Bangkok-wide service later this year.
To celebrate the launch, UberEATS is offering 150 baht of your first order. Simply use the promo code UBEREATSBKK before February 17th.
To use UberEATS simply download the app, add your address, browse the list of restaurants and place your order. You can then track your order and watch as it gets delivered to your door.
