The new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be official unveiled in New York on August 23 but renowned tipster Evan Blass has leaked images of the new device showing it to be extremely similar to the Galaxy S8 and S8+.
Blass, who claims that his latest information comes from someone who has been briefed on the devices configuration, says that the Note 8 will have a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display that will have squared corners.
In terms of size, it will be 162.5mm x 74.6mm and just 8.5mm thick. Samsung’s own Exynos 8895 will be entrusted with powering the device in most places in the world although US customer will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor. Experts believe that there will be very little difference in performance.
The Note 8 will have wireless charging capabilities and two rear cameras, both featuring 12MP sensors. The front camera will be an 8MP sensor for selfie fans. It will be shipped in Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey and Deep Sea Blue.

Not surprisingly, the Galaxy Note 8 will have an edge-to-edge display – as found on the Galaxy S8. Similar to previous models, the Note will also come with an S Pen stylus.
Samsung will be hoping that the Note 8 will make a big impact on the market, going into direct competition with the iPhone 8, Apple’s 10th anniversary device.
This is the first Note to be released since last year’s $19 billion recall of the disastrous Galaxy Note 7 but the South Korean manufacturer has high hopes for the new model.
