Chinese social media site Weibo recently leaked live images of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro.
The new images confirm long rumoured specs of the upcoming Huawei’s new flagship smartphone due for release next week.
The images show the Huawei Mate 10 with 6.2-inch, 2,160 x 1080 pixel display. The display’s ratio is 18:9, suggesting that it will take up most of the front of the device.
That being said, it won’t have a bezel-less or a full-screen display which maybe comes as something of a surprise although maybe this is because these are available on the Mate Pro.
The processor for both devices will be the top-of-the-range HiSilicon Kirin 970.
As with all modern smartphones, the cameras will be excellent with a dual-sports camera on the rear that comes with a Leica Lens optics. It will have a 20MP sensor and a 23MP monochrome unit.
When it comes to its battery, the Mate 10 will have a 4,000mAh Li-on battery, the same as its predecessors but it is expected to drain far slower thanks to the Kirin 970 SoC. It will also come with Android 8.0 Oreo pre-loaded.
There will be two versions of the device, the first one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and a second, 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. They will cost approximately THB21,500 and THB24,500 respectively. There is also speculation that a 6GB RAM device with 256GB of storage may also be available later.
The entire Mate 10 series is due to be launched in Germany on October 16.
We’ll bring you full details on Thailand pricing and release date of the Mate 10 Pro as soon as they are revealed.
