With the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge set to be released in Thailand at the beginning of next week, you may be considering whether or not to upgrade to either one of Samsung’s new flagship smartphones.
A top of the range high spec phone more often than not will come with a top end sales price and unsurprisingly, Samsung’s latest offerings are no different.
The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will cost 23,900 THB and 27,900 THB respectively for a 32GB version, which for many of us means that purchasing either of these devices won’t be a spur of the moment affair.
Sure, the phones have been well received, with some reviewers describing them Samsung’s best yet. In fact, the S6 Edge has proved so popular that numerous phone carriers have been increasing their orders of the device, which has resulted in the phone being in pretty short supply, with Samsung recently being forced to admit that it is unable to keep up with demand for its new three sided smartphone.
But when spending that amount cash, you’re going to want to make sure you know exactly what you’re getting for your money. Samsung is showcasing the new S6 and S6 Edge in its stores throughout Thailand prior to the official release on April 20th, which gives you a chance to try out the devices for yourself.
However, if you want to know what either of the phones are really like, Samsung has released the Galaxy S6 Experience app which lets you try out the new software features of the S6 from your current Android smartphone.
The app, which is free to download from the Google Play Store, gives you a good idea of what you can expect in terms of software on the new S6.
The Galaxy S6 Experience app previews the new S Health application and the S6’s new camera sensor. It also showcases the new theming engine which offers users arguably more customisation options than any other Samsung device previously.
It’s important to point out that the Galaxy S6 Experience app does not download Touchwiz onto your phone, but instead enables you to get a good idea of the software used on the Galaxy S6 and what that looks like incorporated into Android 5.0 Lollipop.
If you’re debating whether or not to buy the Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge, then this app might help you make up your mind. Download it now from the Google Play Store.
