The Garmin Fenix 3 HR is a fitness watch that comes complete with a built-in-wrist-based heart rate monitor and is particularly useless for tracking your workouts.
The watch also doubles up as a smartwatch when paired with your smartphone (both iOS and Android) and is a pretty rugged, good looking device that wouldn’t look out of place in the boardroom or gym.
The Garmin Fenix 3 HR is water resistant to a depth of 100 metres, has connectivity in the form of both Bluetooth and ANT+ and weighs in at just 88 grams.
It has a 1.2 inch display (218 x2 18 pixels) that is made from sapphire glass. The strap is silicone to add to user’s comfort.
It has a number of other features including, digital compass, calendar, barometer, altimeter and thermometer as well as the fitness tracking features.
As well as being able to track running specific variables such as speed, distance, pace and heart rate, the Garmin Fenix 3 HR also records more specific data for other sports such as swimming and biking.
As for battery performance, Garmin says it will last for around 4 days without needing to be charged.
Garmin released the device in Thailand last week and it is currently available for THB 23,400.
