Apple has just announced the date of it annual developers conference, where the tech giant is expected to announce the next generation of its iPhone, Mac and iPad.
The company announced on Tuesday that its Worldwide Developers Conference 2018 will take place on 4th June.
WWDC is used by the company to showcase the next updates to its products and software.
This year’s event will likely feature the new versions of iOS, MacOS, tvOS and WatchOS, as well as being used by Apple to launch new hardware.
The firm has used previous events to showcase new products such as the Apple HomePod speaker, new Macs and the updated iPad Pro.
This year could be the same with rumours abound that the Cupertino firm is set to unveil a new budget laptop.
The new MacBook is set to have an affordable price tag and would replace the ageing MacBook Air, which is long overdue a fresh, from Apple’s lineup.
As well as a new MacBook, Apple could debut a new iPhone SE and a smaller version of its HomePod speaker, which could also be cheaper than the original.
In a message on its website Apple said: “Apple today announced it will host its 29th annual Worldwide Developers Conference in San Jose from June 4 through June 8.
“The McEnery Convention Center will be home to the world’s most creative developer community, who come together every year to share unique perspectives and learn about the future of Apple’s breakthrough products and services.”
