Apple has confirmed the release date for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in Thailand.
According to the Apple website the new iPhones will be released on November 3rd.
The price for iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in Thailand is yet to be confirmed.
However, the pricing in the United States, where the new handsets are already on sale is as follows:
64GB – $699 [approx Bt23,300] 256GB – $849 [Bt 28,300]
iPhone 8 Plus
64GB – $799 [Bt26,700]
256GB – $949 [Bt31,700]
There is no information yet on when the iPhone X will be released in Thailand.
Meanwhile, the new Apple Watch 3 GPS and the Apple Watch Series 3 Nike + version will go on sale in Thailand on October 5th, price starts from Bt 11,900.
The news comes after it was revealed that Apple is about to open its first official Apple Store in Thailand.
An Apple public relations officer told The Nation that the location of the shop and its opening date is still confidential.
“We’re excited to begin hiring the team that will open our first Apple Store in Thailand. Bangkok is one of Asia’s leading cultural and tourism centres, with a vibrant design and architectural scene.
“We look forward to providing customers an amazing space to experience all of our great products, services and inspiring educational programmes that are loved by Apple customers around the world,” a statement on the Apple Thailand website says.
