Huawei is now undoubtedly one of the biggest players in the smartphone market. Their latest flagship device was launched in November 2015 and comes complete with a 6 inch touch screen display with the relatively common resolution of 1080 pixels x 1920 pixels.
The mechanics of the Huawei Mate 8 include being powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor and comes complete with 3GB of RAM.
The standard internal storage capacity is larger than most phones on the market at 32GB which can be expanded up to 64GB with a microSD card. The cameras too are quite impressive with the rear camera boasting 16 megapixels and the front camera 8 megapixels giving you far clearer selfie pictures.
The device runs the Android 6.0 and is powered by a 4000mAH non removable battery. It is slightly heavier than other phones but not to any real noticeable degree at 185g and measures 157.1 x 80.6 x 7.9mm. It is capable of being dual SIM and accepts 2 Nano-SIM cards.
The regular connectivity options are available such as Bluetooth, SPS, NFC, FM and WiFi plus 3G and 4G (where available). The sensors include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer and a Gyroscope.
The phone has already proved to be one of the best selling handsets in China.
Its larger than standard battery size may appeal to a variety of different users due to the ever increasing issues with battery life in a number of the other phones on the market.
The Huawei Mate 8 is now on sale in Thailand from 23,990 Baht.
