Huawei are about to launch their new flagship phone the P20 later this month and new rumours have surfaced that at least one of the new devices will have a triple camera configuration on the rear.
A new rendered image has been leaked and shows the triple camera system on a P20 device. Weibo the Chinese equivalent of Twitter was the first to show the image online.
The render shows three lenses with the Leica branding on the rear next to a dual flash unit.
The render also reveals a small area of the front of the phone which seems to show a small notch that could be used to house the front-facing camera and other sensors.
The tagline that accompanies the render says “See Mooore with AI” which happens to be the exact same tagline the company have given to the press for the invitation to the March 27th event which is a hint that an official launch announcement including the three camera feature could be made.
According to other reports, the handset will include a new type of advanced artificial intelligence feature although details and confirmation of this have yet to be released.
Previously leaked photos of a P20 and P20 Lite have been doing the rounds online for some time with the general consensus being that the three camera phone will, in fact, be the Huawei P20 Pro.
