If the iPhone 8 looks like this, we’re all going to want one

It seems not a day goes by without a leaked photo or other claiming to show some detail of the iPhone 8.

While Apple is set to hold its annual developer’s conference next week where the Cupertino firm will unveil the inevitable software updates and maybe even a host of new MacBooks, all the excitement remains about what Apple will release in September – the anniversary iPhone, dubbed the iPhone 8.

Now, perhaps the most detailed set of new images have been released that claim to show the iPhone 8 in all its glory.

The image, which first appeared on tech site SlashLeaks have been created using computer assisted design and confirm the long held belief the iPhone 8 will include an infinity style display, as seen on the Samsung Galaxy S8. The image shows a dummy iPhone inside a protective case.

The full screen display has reportedly become something of a headache for Apple.

Previous reports claimed that the firm had been having technical problems embedding the Touch ID fingerprint scanner into the screen and had been forced to move it to the rear of the device.

However, serial Apple tipster Benjamin Geskin has also posted what are arguably the most detailed CAD schematics and mock ups of the iPhone 8, claims that the firm has now been able to build the Touch ID sensor into the front of the device.

Geskin’s images also show the vertical dual camera setup that has long been rumoured to feature on the iPhone 8.

While Apple is unlikely to mention the iPhone 8 at its developer conference next week, it is expected to unveil iOS 11 which will almost certainly run on the next lineup of iPhones.

Honestly, the release of the iPhone 8 can’t come soon enough as we’re tired of writing about these rumours and leaks!

However, if the device looks anything like the recent images shared by Geskin, the iPhone 8 could well be the phone to beat in 2017.
