iPhone 7 may come in dark blue

The Japanese website Mac Otakara has claimed that a Chinese supplier of Apple’s iPhone 7 has revealed that the device will be available in dark blue.

Although there is constant speculation about the iPhone 7, the Japanese site has a good record when it comes to predictions.

The phone is expected to also be available in silver, gold and rose gold with questions being raised about whether Space Grey will be included – something that had been commonplace since 2013.

The latest or next generation handset from Apple is expected to be released in September with plenty of rumours flying around about what to expect.

It appears that the general consensus is that the chassis will be pretty much unchanged, although there is still plenty of debate about the 3.5mm headphone jack.

The internals will include an “A10” SoC, a 256GB internal storage version, a dual-lens camera and a larger “iPhone 7 Plus”.

A phablet version is also rumoured to be available with 3GB of RAM and Apple’s new Smart Connector.

It has also been suggested that LG Innotek will replace long term supplier Sony when it comes to the dual lens camera modules although this has yet to be confirmed by any of the parties rumoured to be involved.
