A few weeks ago, Samsung officially announced plans to sell refurbished models of its ill fated Galaxy Note 7 smartphone.
Now a new set of leaked photos have given the first insight into what Samsung has planned with the refurbished devices.
According to Vietnamese site Samsung VN, the leaked photos show a refurbished Note 7 with model number SM-N935, the version with the exploding batteries was SM-N930.
The leaked photos also claim that the refurbished model will include a smaller 3,200mAh battery, down from the 3,500mAH version the Note 7 originally shipped with.
The device is also shown to be running Android Nougat.
As yet there is still no information on when or where the device will go sale or how much it will cost.
Samsung said previously the refurbished models will not be sold in the US or Canada but did say the device will go on sale in ‘emerging markets’ while other rumours have claimed the refurbished Note 7s will go on sale in Vietnam.
Fingers crossed they make their way to Thailand – just as long as Samsung has done more quality assurance testing on these models than it did first time round!
