Supercar maker Lamborghini has launched the world’s fastest SUV, the rather oddly named Urus.
Lamborghini say the 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 can reach 100km/h in just 3.6 seconds and is capably of hitting a top speed of 305km/h.
“The Lamborghini Urus is a visionary approach based on the infusion of Lamborghini DNA into the most versatile vehicle, the SUV,” Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali said in a press release.
“The Urus elevates the SUV to a level not previously possible, the Super SUV.”
In addition to its 650 horsepower engine, the Urus comes with an 8 speed automatic, 4WD with active torque vectoring and 4 wheel steering.
Inside the Urus easily fits four passengers in a leather lined contemporary cockpit with modern touch screen entertainment with all mod cons and which can be fully integrated with Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
