The eagerly awaited launch of the Samsung S8 and Samsung S8 Plus are still a few weeks away but some of the device’s details are slowly starting to emerge via a series of leaks.
Whilst the MWC 2017 has almost certainly come too early for the device it is expected to be launched at its own event own event in New York in either March or early April.
The latest leaks have come from the usually reliable Evan Blass on Twitter and the information appears to be pretty legitimate.

According to the list that he has published the Galaxy S 8 Plus will have a huge 6.2-inch screen with Quad HD+ resolution. To put this in perspective, the ill-fated Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had a 5.7-inch screen so you can appreciate that this is quite a jump.
The device will be IP68 dust and water-resistant, have 12MP dual pixel, rear facing main camera, 8MP front facing “selfie” camera and be 4G LTE capable.
Coming with an iris scanner and being secured by Samsung Knox, the device is predicted to be one of the most secure on the market.
Internally, it will have 64GB of memory that can be expanded with a microSD card. It will also have 4GB of RAM, have Samsung Pay installed, use the Android 7.0 Nougat OS, be capable of wireless charging and have earphones tuned by AKG.
The new “infinity display” which is said to cover 83% of the front panel, and allows Samsung to offer a larger display without having to produce a much larger handset.
