LG Electronics (Thailand) has released a new high-end television series, the Signature OLED TV W7T, which claims to be a first for Thailand.

“The W7T series is a frameless wallpaper TV designed on the concept ‘Simplicity. Perfection.’ and boasts a 65-inch screen just 2.57 millimetres thick to deliver the ultimate watching experience and a new level of home entertainment,” the company said in a press release.

“Once the W7T is attached to a wall, it blends in perfectly, looking just like a picture and giving users the sense that they are looking out of a large window.”

Equipped with a Dolby Atmos system, the W7T provides sound said to be similar to the “360-degree” sound of a cinema.

Nipon Wongsaengarunsri, LG Electronics (Thailand) marketing director, said: “The LG Signature OLED TV W7T series highlights our commitment to delivering cutting-edge innovations to our customers as well as certifying our leadership in the premium TV market both locally and globally.

“Customers will enjoy the most accurate picture and sound quality from Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos as well as admire the pioneering frameless design so thin it goes beyond expectations. Additionally, the W7T is fully equipped with user-friendly features for easier access to content reflecting our ‘Back to Basics’ philosophy.”

The television also features the webOS 3.5 operating system and can be connected via a Wi-Fi connection or Bluetooth signal, as well as through HDMI 2.0 and USB portals.

The 65-inch model is priced at Bt299,990 THB, and it can be seen authorized dealers Home Pro, Power Buy and Power Mall.

A special promotion until December 31 will see the 55-inch model on sale for Bt99,990 including a additional three years of product warranty. Details: www.lg.com/th.
