Naver, the company behind the popular Line messaging app has announced a new feature which allows users to unsend or delete sent messages.
The feature is similar to that recently rolled out by Facebook owned WhatsApp.
However, Line’s unsend function will allow you to delete a sent message up to 24 hours after it has been sent, whereas WhatsApp gives you a window of just seven minutes to delete a sent message.
The company announced the new feature via Twitter on Thursday and are running a promotional campaign about it between Nov 16 and 2, Rocket News 24 reported.
However, it’s not immediately clear when the new feature will be available to users in Thailand [we’ll update when this changes].

The news comes after rival messaging app WhatsApp rolled out a similar feature in October.
The Delete for Everyone feature, which was long rumoured to be coming to WhatsApp, was made official on October 30th.
The Line messaging app is hugely popular in Thailand. Out of the country’s 44 million mobile users, around 94 percent of them, some 41 million, use Line.
Thailand is Line’s second largest market behind Japan.
