Facebook is set to make changes to its comments feature.
The social network is reportedly testing a new interface for comments on its iOS app.
The new interface will make comments look a lot like Facebook Messenger, BuzzFeed reported.
Instead of the existing layout, where comments are displayed in a grid format under a post, the new design means comments appear in a grey bubble with the Like and Reply button underneath.
The change was first spotted over the weekend and has reportedly already been rolled out to a number of iOS users.
Facebook is yet to confirm if the feature is being tested on Android but did say it would help Facebook become more “conversational”.
“We are always working to make Facebook a more visual and engaging place to have conversations,” Facebook told Buzzfeed in a statement.
“So we’re testing multiple design updates in News Feed, including a more conversational way to comment on posts.”
The news comes after social network recently rolled out Facebook Stories, which very closely resembles the Snapchat feature of the same name.
Facebook also added a new City Guides feature to its iOS and Android apps.
