The Mobile Game Asia 2015 conference gets underway in Bangkok on January 23rd.
The event which is organised by the Global Mobile Game Confederation (GMGC) is the largest and fastest growing business to business mobile game event of its in Southeast Asia.
Now in its second year, the event will include panelists and keynote speakers from some of the worlds leading companies from the world of gaming and the web including Google, Facebook, PayPal, Xurpas, iDreamSky and TouchTen Games.
Mobile Games Asia 2015 will cover a wide variety of topics from relating to gaming such as publishing, monetization and investment, as well as other issues related to the gaming industry throughout Southeast Asia.
The event is also giving the chance for independent game developers to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges to be in with a chance of winning a $2,000 prize.
GMGC also hosts the largest mobile games event of its kind in China and hosted a similar event last year in Singapore, which saw 400 people attend.
Southeast Asia is one of the worlds fastest growing markets when it comes to mobile gaming.
In Thailand alone, users spend more on mobile gaming apps than in any other country in Southeast Asia.
Bangkok also has the largest number of Facebook users in the region and has the 2nd largest amount web users under the age of 35, with 72% of this age group online.
Mobile Game Asia 2015 begins on Friday and is held at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok.
