Motorola’s new smartwatch recently passed through Brazilian communications certification authorities, in which the filings indicated that Motorola is working on two sizes for the next version of the Moto 360.
The Moto 360L (L for large) and Moto 360S appear to keep the same design – a “flat tire” portion of the display sits at the bottom of the screen and both have rounded metal cases. There are some differences between the two new models, but the new big and small versions have leak in new photos.
Two new Moto’s: Moto 360L and Moto 360S
The photos were leaked via Hong Kong website HelloMotoHK. In one of the photos, the Moto 360S is shown worn on a wrist next to the current generation Moto 360. There’s an obvious size difference and it’s fairly compact. The metal surround also appears much more shiny. There is also a set of traditional watch lugs so that regular straps can be fitted. Another change is that the side button is positioned at the 2 o clock position rather than the 3 o clock position of the current model.
The Moto 360S picture provides an indication of size, but it’s fairly hard to tell how big the Moto 360L will be. The watch looks pretty big, but that’s not helped by the model having small wrists. The 360L version is likely to be identical in size to the current 360.
