Lenovo’s interesting modular smartphones, the Moto Z and Moto Z Play are now available in Thailand with the Moto Z Play costing THB15,900 and the Moto Z costing THB23,900.
The Moto Z has a slim design that is only 5.2mm thick and designed out of aircraft-grade aluminium and stainless steel.
The display is a 5.5 inch QHD AMOLED and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset paired with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM.
The rear camera is 13MP and includes laser autofocus, OIS and dual-tone LED flash. The front camera also has LED flash and is a 5MP unit complete with wide-angle lens.
It also includes a fingerprint reader and has a 2600mAh battery. Sound is routed through the USB-C port as there is no 3.5mm audio jack.
The more nimble Moto Z Play has again has 5.5 inch Full HD AMOLED display however it is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor and only has 3GB of RAM.
The internal storage in 32GB and the rear camera is 16MP with laser auto-focus, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, a 5MP front-facing camera, fingerprint scanner, and dual SIM card option.
You do get a USB Type-C port but unlike the Moto Z, this smartphone comes with the 3.5mm audio jack.
There is also a microSD expansion slot and a larger 3,510mAh battery.
