Netflix brings offline viewing to Windows 10

Windows 10 users can now download Netflix movies and TV shows direct to the PC so they can watch them later.

The company finally added the much demanded feature to its Android and iOS apps last November but has now added the same feature to the Windows 10 version of its app.

While Windows 10 users can’t download the entire Netflix library, most of the big name titles are there including House of Cards, Breaking Bad and Stranger Things.

Netflix has said it will make more titles available to download in the coming months.

Users can see which shows can be downloaded by clicking on the “Available to Download” option from the menu in the app.

Downloaded content is then stored in the “My Downloads” section.

Being able to download Netflix content is a big bonus for Windows 10 users, especially for those with sluggish internet connections, who can experience delays or buffering when trying to stream content.

However the news isn’t so good for Mac users with no word yet on when or even if offline viewing will be made available on Apple’s operating system.

Last month, Netflix announced a new feature that allows users to skip the intro before watching a TV show.
