New set of leaked images claim to reveal the Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Samsung is gearing up for the release of its next flagship smartphone – the Note 8.

The new phablet is expected to be unveiled in August, ahead of Apple’s iPhone 8.

Now new leaked images which have surfaced online claim to show the Note 8 in all its glory, with its dual lens camera, trademark S Pen stylus and the same stunning Infinity Display as featured on the Samsung Galaxy S8 series.

The new renders were shared on Twitter by user @UniverseIce who claimed the leaked images were of the upcoming Note 8.

If the renders are legit than Android fans can expect another near bezel-less smartphone from Samsung which looks to be a worthy follow up to the already hugely successful Galaxy S8.

Despite the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 being regarded as one of the biggest blunders in the history of smartphone releases after it was recalled when a manufacturing fault resulted in the batteries of some handsets catching fire, the Note 8 is being tipped to be Samsung’s most impressive smartphone yet.

Previous reports have claimed the Note 8 will have a curved edge to edge display which will offer even greater screen to body ratio that the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.

The display is rumoured to measure a whopping 6.7 inches and the Note 8 is also expected to include a 12 MP front facing camera.

Earlier this month a report in the Korea Herald claimed that Samsung would release the Note 8 in August in a bid to get a head start on rival Apple which is tipped to release the iPhone 8 in September.

While Samsung has remained fairly tight lipped on the release of the Note 8, a spokesperson for the Korean tech giant has said the firm will release a “’new flagship smartphone” by the end of the year.
