It’s official: Apple to unveil iPhone 8 on September 12

Apple has confirmed it hosting a new product launch event on September 12, where it is expected to unveil the iPhone 8.

On Thursday, the company sent out press invites for the event, with a note which reads: “Let’s meet at our place. Please join us for the first-ever event at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino.” This means that the event will be the first to be held at Apple’s new campus.

At the event Apple is actually expected to unveil three new iPhones, with the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus being launched alongside the iPhone 8.

The iPhone 8 is expected to represent the biggest change both in terms of design and features of any iPhone in recent years.

The iPhone 8 is expected to include a full screen display and facial recognition, which will allow users to unlock the device simply by looking at it.

Apple is also expected to remove the home button from the iPhone 8, instead replacing it with a new software bar, as well as a feature that will allow users to control their phone using hand gestures.

In addition to new iPhones, Apple could also launch a 4K TV and the Apple Watch 3, which is tipped to come with its own cellular connection that would allow people to use it without the need to carry an iPhone with them at the same time.

Apple is also likely to use the event to reveal more details about the next version of its mobile operating system, iOS 11.
