Samsung has announced that its upcoming smartphones the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be available to preorder in Thailand from April 17 to April 23.
The eagerly anticipated Galaxy S8 is the firm’s first premium smartphone after it was forced to recall the Galaxy Note 7 last October following reported of some devices exploding.
For now, users can register their interest via the Samsung website.
However, Samsung Mobile Thailand told Thaivisa that they do not yet have any information on when the device will be officially available in Thailand.
Samsung said that as soon it has confirmed the release date it will make the information available on its Facebook page.
We’ll update you with the latest information with regards to the release of the S8 in Thailand as soon as we receive it from Samsung.
Launched on March 29, Samsung announced the Galaxy S8 will go on sale in the United States on April 21, with the 5.8 inch Galaxy S8 costing around $700, while the larger S8 Plus will sell for $840.
Samsung has now confirmed the price of the 64GB version of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 will retail for 27,900 baht, while the larger S8+ starts at 30,900 baht.
In a post on its official Facebook page, Samsung also revealed that anyone who pre-orders the device from Samsung between April 17-23 will receive a ‘Premium Set’ of accessories worth 6,950 baht.
Included in the set is a wireless charger, Bluetooth speaker, phone cover and 500 baht voucher.
