It is more than 140 years since the first telephone call was made and things have changed a great deal since those times.
Our phone these days are rarely attached to a desk or a wall and sit nicely in our pockets and resemble more of a computer than a phone – certainly nothing that Alexander Graham Bell would recognize. Whilst our phones have improved several times over, making simple calls hasn’t progressed at the same rate.
However, the creators of a new mobile hope to address and change the way we use our phones to communicate.
The all new Primo app is basically turbo charged messaging app, a ‘one stop communication shop’ that enables you to not only make free telephone calls, but also send SMS, make video calls and send data files.
While you’d be right in thinking there are plenty of apps that do this already, Primo is unique in that it does require both users to have the app installed, meaning that you send SMS and make telephone calls to anyone – free of charge.
It almost sounds too good to be true and whilst the Primo app isn’t completely free, users only incur charges if they go over the allotted minutes or make calls outside of the 33 countries where Primo is available – which includes Thailand.
Primo could be useful to anyone who often travels overseas and needs to make calls but doesn’t want to be stung with data roaming or overseas call charges.
Primo is available on Android and iOS and can be used on both smartphones and tablets.
