Amazon is about to release a new high end Kindle which is said to feature a rechargeable battery case, according to reports.
The rumoured new Kindle, which will be the eighth-generation will be “top of the line” although any other information about the device at this stage appears to be very sketchy.
In his tweet Bezos said “Heads up readers – all new, top of the line Kindle almost ready. 8th generation. Details next week.”

Amazon has always looked after its customers who have previously purchased or now own older models of the device and this is indeed a credit to them and appears to be something that is carrying on.
Last month, Amazon issued an update for its older generation Kindle devices. Unlike many of the previous updates the latest one was mandatory and was issued in order ensure that older Kindles would still be able to connect to the Internet.
The update was required for the first generation of Kindle Paperwhite which was released back in 2012 and for all other devices that pre-dated this model.
The update needed to have been installed before March 22 with users being advised of this in every way possible including adverts in the Washington Post which Bezos also owns.
As with all of the previous Kindle models we are sure that the device will prove to be hugely popular. We are uncertain of a release date here in Thailand but be sure that we will inform you as soon as we have more information.
