Review: Magic Keyboard is a must for any serious typing

The magic’s in the numbers

An optional extra with the new iMac, the Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad is a must for any serious typing

The new iMac package comes with a keyboard but anyone who wants to do serious typing – and needs to bring figures into the equation – will do better to lay out a little for the new Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad.

Not only it is much more comfortable to type on, it’s also larger and includes that numeric keypad that Mac users have been calling out for.

This new keyboard has an extended width for maximum speed on your desktop, but shares the same travel, low profile and design elements as the Magic Keyboard.

It also matches perfectly with the Magic Mouse 2 or Magic Trackpad 2 and connects to the iMac via Bluetooth connection.

It comes with rechargeable battery as well as a Lightning to USB cable for recharging. It takes about two hours to fully charge and that full charge provides about a month or more of battery life.

The new Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad is available from for Bt4,500.
