Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Note8 smartphone will be available nationwide in Thailand on Friday, September 22.
Following the concept “Do Bigger Things”, the new Note “surpasses all limitations by enabling people to achieve bigger things”, according to Samsung.
The launch underlines Samsung’s leadership in smartphone innovation, the company said. “It’s a testament to Samsung’s determination to retain its position as the industry’s number one Android smartphone market leader in Thailand and globally,” it said in a statement.
The Note8 addresses the growing popularity of large-screen smartphones by sporting a 6.3-inch Super Amoled Infinity Display.
The device’s improved S Pen enables users to communicate in more personal ways, and Samsung’s best-ever smartphone dual-sensor camera will capture stunning photos with its new features, the company said.
It will be available from Friday through Samsung’s multiple distribution channels, Wichai Pornpratang, the company’ corporate vice president, IT and mobile communications, said on Tuesday.
The Galaxy Note8 will cost Bt33,900.
