Apple has added a useful one handed keyboard to the latest version of iOS for users who struggle using some of its bigger iPhones.
The new keyboard has been launched with iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X users in mind, which both have large screens making it difficult to type without using two hands.
To use the one handed keyboard you need to be running the latest version of iOS 11.
To enable it, head to Settings > General > Keyboards > One-Handed Keyboard.
Once enabled, the one handed keyboard moves to either the left or right hand side of the screen, meaning users can easily reach the whole keyboard using just one hand.
When you come to type text, hold on the globe icon on your keyboard and you’ll be presented with a message about which keyboard you want to use. Simply select the one handed option and you should be good to go.
For those using the one handed keyboard on a Plus version of the iPhone 6, 7 or 8, your keyboard will become closer to the size of the one found on the 4.7 inch version of the iPhone.
