Sony Thai hopes to create “a new phenomenon” in the Thai market with its introduction of the A1 Series of Bravia TV sets, headlined by the country’s first OLED (organic light-emitting diode) TVs, which it is sure will excite the industry.
The new series conveys what the company describes as “an unprecedented and unparalleled home entertainment experience with perfect image clarity and powerful sound”, together with the debut of the full 2017 Bravia line-up with a total of 29 models.
Eighteen models come with 4K HDR technology and are packed with a variety of functions enabling easy access to entertainment experience for new-generation consumers, reflecting the trend of large screen and ultra-clarity.
The new Bravia line-up will start phasing onto the Kingdom’s shelves this month, with pre-booking for the Bravia OLED TV – A1 Series running from July 24 to August 13, with an exclusive premium pack containing a PS4 Pro game console and gaming software with a total value of more than Bt18,000.
Tetsutaka Suda, general manager – product marketing of Sony Thai, said on Tuesday that Sony continued to penetrate the Thai market and reinforce its TV business to grow on a continual basis with a commitment to developing products and technologies.
Sony TV has combined full-fledged experience and expertise for a long time to always offer the latest products and improved quality of picture and sound, as well as developing product features that meet today’s lifestyle and a variety of consumer demand, such as large-screen TVs, smart-device connection and high definition in order to deliver experience and enrich exclusive entertainment from TV viewing, he said.
Besides today’s launch of the Bravia OLED TV, the latest line-up and the first TV with OLED technology in Thailand, a broad spectrum of 4K Bravia models featuring HDR technology debuts in line with the rapid expansion of the large-screen TV and high-definition trend.
Sony believes that the introduction of the new Bravia TV line-up will meet demand from new-generation consumers and upgrade TV quality to the next level to ensure the best viewing experience for consumers, Tetsutaka added.
