Apple recently announced its latest tablet, the 9.7 inch iPad Pro, at their ‘Let us Loop You In’ event which was held in Cupertino, California.
The latest edition has pretty much the same internal specifications that are in the iPad Pro that was launched last year with the only significant difference being that it is 9.7 inch form. The tablet supports the Apple Pencil and has the capacity for a detachable keyboard using the Smart Connector.
Much like its larger sibling, the 9.7 inch iPad Pro uses the A9X processor. The main camera in a 12 megapixel iSight camera that includes focus pixels, True Tone Flash and a new image signal processor. As with other iPads the latest version includes a front facing 5 megapixel FaceTime camera.
The camera sensors are the same as those in the iPhone 6s and the iPad Pro also supports Live Photos.
There are three models that are available namely, the 32GB, 128GB and 256GB versions that all have WiFi variants.
The devices are available in black, white, rose and gold. It was noted at the event by Apple SVP, Phil Schiller that apple has already sold more than 200 million 9.7 inch iPad tablets and that there are more than one million iPad apps in the App Store.
The Wi-Fi only version of the iPad Pro 9.7 is out now with prices in Thailand starting from 22,900 THB from all registered Apple retailers. Other variants of the iPad Pro 9.7 may follow later.
