Tinder Adds Instagram Integration in its Latest Update

Hot on the heels of the new Tumblr app update, Tinder has also released a new update to its app that adds direct Instagram integration. Now, you can see the Instagram profiles of potential matches right within the Tinder app.

Tinder also added common connections to its new update, which lets users see how far they’re separated from a match on the social graph. All Facebook interests are presented now, too.

The app’s integration of Instagram was a smart move as most users already link to their Instagram handle in their Tinder profile. Now, users don’t even have to leave the Tinder app to see their potential match’s profiles. With just a tap of a button, you can see the user’s latest pictures (34 to be exact). And you can click on the user’s profile to see all photos, view comments and see other details about your potential match.

Tinder’s common connection information is also a welcomed addition. Now, you can see if you share a mutual friend with matches, or if the two of you happen to have friends that are friends. The app also integrates all of your Facebook interests into the mix, so you can easily start conversations with potential matches.

The updated version of Tinder is available to all users – both paid and free – and can be found on Google Play or the App Store.
