Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s account is hacked

If you want to be noticed then you go right to the top and that is certainly what OurMind security, a “three man security team” did when they hacked the Twitter and Vine accounts of the CEO Jack Dorsey.

The group has previously targeted Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Sundar Pichai of Google by attacking some of their social media accounts.

OurMind released several Vine videos using Dorsey’s account and these were automatically posted on his Twitter feed -slightly embarrassing to say the least.

The tweet simply said “Hey, its OurMind, we are testing your security” and had a link to their website. Not surprisingly, the tweet has now been deleted.

Vine is another social media site that is owned by Twitter with many users using their Twitter accounts to access it.

Of course Dorsey, Zuckerberg and Pichai are not the first famous people to be hacked.

In May Katy Perry, the most followed person on Twitter, had her account hacked. The hacker left homophobic and racist tweets that naturally drew a lot of attention.

Keith Richards, Kylie Jenner and Lady Gaga have also fallen victim to having their Twitter accounts hacked.

Twitter has so far refused to comment.
