Liverpool take on Manchester United in the highlight of this weekend’s English Premier League fixtures.
The game kicks off at 6:30pm [Thailand time] on Saturday October 14th.
The match is perhaps Manchester United’s first real test of their title ambitions as Jose Mourinho’s men make the short trip to Anfield on Saturday.
After what has been a superb start to the season, United sit level on points with neighbours Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table, having won six of the opening seven games this season, scoring a total of 21 goals.
However, United are yet to play against any real title contenders and will be eager to put on a display against bitter rivals Liverpool.
But just as eager for a winning performance are Liverpool who would of course like nothing more than to kick start their season and put a dent in Man United’s title aspirations with a win at Anfield.
By contrast to United’s flying start to the season, Liverpool’s has so far been mixed, at times being both thrilling and woeful – brilliant going forward, but shaky to say the least in defence. Liverpool’s inconsistent start leaves them seven points off the title race and five points behind Manchester United.
Still, form goes out of the window when Liverpool and Manchester United play each other and Jurgen Klopp knows that his team will send a strong message to the rest of the Premier League if they can beat Manchester United.
