WhatsApp will be getting some major new updates over the coming weeks.
The exciting new updates will be available for both iOS and Android users.
For iPhone users you may be getting the changes when Apple releases iOS 10 next week.
Siri support will be available which will therefore allow hands free messaging and reply to calls even when the screen is locked. Other reports say that you will be able to make calls directly from your contacts list.
According to Android Police, a new beta version of the world’s most popular messaging service allows users to draw and doodle on an image before it is sent.
As well as freestyle writing the app will also include stickers to be added to images.
In other news it’s thought WhatsApp may soon add support for the screen to be used as a flash to help boost your nightclub selfies – Apple already includes this Retina flash on their latest iPhones and it certainly helps in low light.
Finally, for emoji fans you will now be able to send them in a larger format.
After the negative publicity that the company has experienced these impressive updates will hopefully put a smile back on fans of WhatsApp faces.
WhatsApp had caused an outcry when they announced that they would be sharing phone numbers and other user data with Facebook.
“As we announced earlier this year, we want to explore ways for you to communicate with businesses that matter to you too.
“Whether it’s hearing from your bank about a potentially fraudulent transaction, or getting notified by an airline about a delayed flight, many of us get this information elsewhere, including in text messages and phone calls.
“And by connecting your phone number with Facebook’s systems, Facebook can offer better friend suggestions and show you more relevant ads if you have an account with them.”
