Before the Flood is Leonardo DiCaprio’s hard hitting documentary about climate change.
Launched earlier this week, it is being distributed online for free and is available to watch on YouTube or on the National Geographic website.
The film, which runs for just over an hour and a half, shows DiCaprio visiting various locations around the world to speak with experts and document the impact climate change continues to have on the planet.
“I just want to know how far we’ve gone, how much damage we’ve done, and if there’s anything we can do to stop it,” DiCaprio says at the start of the movie.
A few celebrities also feature in the movie including outgoing president Barack Obama and billionaire and Tesla founder Elon Musk, who both voice their opinions on climate change and global warming.
Also in the movie, scientists claim they are 955 percent certain that climate change which has occurred over the past 50 years is entirely man made
They also warn that by the end of the century, global warming will result in the polar ice caps melting, sea levels rising between 10 and 30 inches and temperatures rising by as much as 4.8 degrees centigrade.
Before the Flood sees Di Caprio work as executive producer, while Martin Scorsese and Brett Ratner also helped to produce the film.
